product description

Narcissus is grown in dry soil and prefers shade or light sun. It is planted from August to November, with a soil depth of no more than 15 cm. It is preferable to keep it away from sunlight when it begins to bloom and place it in relatively cool places. The narcissus plant has medicinal benefits; it is used as an antispasmodic, nerve tonic, and fever reducer. Essential oils have been extracted from it to create the most beautiful perfumes. Among the most famous types of narcissus known in our Arab world are: (White-edged, Atlantic, Leathery, Delicate, Common, Tangier, Cantabri, Late, Neglected, Paper). There are also some types spread around the world, including: (Scabby, Asouni, Asturian, Green Flowers, High Mountains, Olli, Portuguese, Tri-Stamened, Chalky, Poetic, Khaki, Long-necked, Giant, Cadiz, False, False Two-Tone, Cherry, Puffy, Descending, Nevadi, Yebesi). Legends have it that Narcissus was a boy who was very fond of himself, constantly watching his reflection in the water, enjoying the reflection of his image, and transforming into this beautiful flower. Hence, and in reference to this story, the arrogant and self-admiring person is called a narcissist. The narcissus flower has gained popular attention in various parts of the world, especially in Spain, and many Arab poets have sung of it, praising and admiring it, comparing the languid eyes to the narcissus, only to point out its inclination, break, and beauty.
